Improve your internal “Circadian” clock with our patent-pending light therapy to regulate your natural sleep rhythms. It works in the background while you surf the web for a few minutes in the morning and again just before your desired bedtime. Not another alarm clock or sound machine, The sleep app is created by a Harvard-trained physician…..

When it comes to sleep, TIMING IS EVERYTHING! Sleepiness and its counterpart, wakefulness are regulated by hormones, the most important being Melatonin, whose levels are set by exposure to specific wavelengths of light. This app is based on the astonishing finding that very short (2 to 5 minute) exposures to light in the blue range have 75% of the response rate of continuous bright light in lowering melatonin levels.

HOW TO USE THIS APP:
To use, open our app when you first wake up. You can hold the screen near your eyes for a few minutes or use the navigation bar on our home page to go to your favorite websites. This app provides light therapy of the correct wavelength that follows you to whatever website you are on. It only takes a few minutes to show an effect, although more time will not hurt. Near bedtime, call upon our app again to reduce the blue light stimulation to your retina which will allow natural melatonin levels to rise, inducing sleepiness. Dimming your screen with any of the available dimming apps and avoiding room lights and tv for 30 minutes before bedtime will help.
